Occupational Pensions Trusts Ltd (OPT) is the only organisation to offer sponsoring employers and pension trustees and alternative to the buyout market for occupational pension schemes.
Essentially, OPT is the equivalent of a national pension scheme confederation and is open to membership by occupational pension schemes. OPT removes the pensions obligations from members companies and enhances members' pension rights. OPT's service is much lower in cost than that offered by insurance companies.
